The New England Chapter, of the American Classic Boats Society (ACBS) will be holding its Annual Wolfeboro Rendezvous. Antique and classic wooden boats and pre-1970 autos displayed on the docks and parking lot in
picturesque Wolfeboro, NH. A day of mingling with the past while enjoying live music, food and fall foliage.

"ICE OUT" on Lake Winnipesaukee occurred
at 8:00pm April 23, 2008. The official "ICE OUT" was declared by
Dave Emerson of Emerson Aviation of Gilford.
"ICE OUT" becomes official when the route of the MS Mount
Washington is navigable. That is, the ship must be able to
cruise among its five ports: Alton Bay, Center Harbor, Meredith,
Weirs Beach, and Wolfeboro. Records of "Ice Out" date back into the
1800's. The earliest "Ice Out" reported was on March 28, 1921 and
the latest on May 12, 1888. On average Ice Out appears in mid-
April.

Years of Record. - 114.
